Frequently Asked QuestionsFrequently Asked Questions:
1 Q: I don't know how to open the slide show file after I create it.
A: Perhaps you make a mistake, *.aps file is a config file that records the setting of your slide show, it is not the final slide show file. The following is how to make a slide show file:
Menu -> File -> Create slide show; or click the "Create slide show" button which on the left side of the main window.

When you click the "Create slide show" button, then click "Create" button, the program will open a dialog window to ask you the save location of the slide show(default is "Output folder"). After making .exe file, the program will popup a little window to tell you the slide show information, such as title, file size and save location. Go to that target path then you can find the .exe file. This is the final slide show file.

2 Q: Nothing happen when I click the "Preview" button or run the created slide show.
A: There are two probable causes: (1) Your anti-virus or protecting software blocked the slide show running, some of them will even prompt false alarm to the slide show file. So please temporarily disable it and test the slide show again. (2) You need to fix *.scr file association: Start Menu -> Run -> Regedit, go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command, double click the default value, enter "%1" /S (including double quotation marks), then go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.scr make sure the default value is scrfile.

3 Q: Why my anti-virus software prompt warning to the created slide show file?
A: There is no trojan or virus, the newly created slide show is safe, the warning should be false alarm. Some anti-virus software uses technic like riskware detection mode to detect potential virus, this usually causes the false alarm. Ddisable your anti-virus program, or add the exe file to white-list, or level down the defence.

4 Q: Can the screen saver support stand by or hibernation mode?
A: Yes, it should support these modes in most machines, but some other long time working applications or some anti-virus software might prohibit the system go into these modes.

5 Q: Can the screen saver support multiple monitors?
A: Yes, it should support most kinds of multiple monitors, but all dynamical effects will be displayed on the primary monitor, only a static photo on other monitors.

6 Q: Video quality worse than the original photos while playing AVI.
A: Playing exe is more clear than playing AVI, because avi video is limited to 30 frames per sec, but exe can play in more than 60 frames/s mode. When make AVI video, choose the option "Let me choose the installed video codec", still choose X264/H264 codec, then click "config" button to adjust high quality settings might be a little helpful.

7 Q: I have purchased the software and enter my keycode, but there is still a 7-photo limit, or the exe was automatically terminated after playing 7 photos.
A: Perhaps you did not enter the correct code, so the program can not unlock the limit. Because there is some anti-cracking, so even you enter part of wrong info, the program will also say that it is a full version. Please paste the user name or email and keycode exactly into the program to register the program again. And you have to re-create the slideshow to take effect. Old registered users of Acme Photo ScreenSaver Maker can enter your original User Name and Keycode to register this program in 5.2 or later version.

8 Q: Got Runtime Error 9 while saving AVI, or no response while merging video and audio.
A: Try these two ways might fix the problem: (1) the program does not support some audio file, use some other audio convertor converts the audio file to a new CBR MP3 or WMA. (2) . Re-install the program to none system drive, disable your protecting software then try again.

9 Q: Dynamic lyric does not correspond to the music, why?
A: Because this program only can support Lrc format lyric file, but Lrc format just afford the begin time for each lyric line, it is impossible to make each word correspond to the music without beat information.

10 Q: While playing the song becomes slower or tonal modification.
A: Perhaps the program can not fully support this audio file, please use some other audio convertor converts the song to a new CBR MP3 or WMA.
